About Overseas Transportation

GINGA STAGE, we transport those who are Japanese in a foreign country and foreign residents or travelers in Japan to their home countries.
In order to carry the body overseas, they need a process called Embalming that performs special antiseptic and epidemic measures.
As a series of services, first we will claim the body at a place designated by the funeral company, the embassy or other related organizations.
After that, we will perform the embalming process at a specialized facility, which will be in charge of preparing necessary documents and various applications. We will implement everything up to departure.

What is Embalming

Embalming is a general method of body preservation in the western culture, known as "body health preservation technology" that can preserve and disinfect the body and be brought closest to the appearance of life.
In Japan where we are facing a super-aged society. Depending on the area, there may be a short waiting period before cremation due to congestion at the crematorium.
In such a case, it is possible to maintain the appearance and hygiene of the deceased person in good condition by an embalming treatment that disinfects the body.
For example, embalming would preserve the appearance of the body, but not including a deceased person who has been involved in an accident. In the case of the deceased person who had a disease that brings about physical change, it is also possible to perform restoration procedures that will restore more natural appearances. In addition, with this treatment, there is no concern about infectious diseases for family members and funeral staff.

Embalming provides time for the ceremony and funeral arrangements because it is more important than anything else that the family feels comfortable and has peace of mind. It is a very effective technology that brings a sense of security.

In the Embalming Treatment, after a small incision is made in a part of the body, an antiseptic solution is injected in place of the remaining body fluid through the blood vessel, thereby preventing the body from decaying while maintaining safe hygiene.
As a series of processes, the body will be transported to a well-equipped embalming room and placed on the treatment table.
Sanitization and sterilization treatment is performed, then the injection of antiseptic solution and restoration treatment. Afterwards makeup, dressing in clothes, and so on is performed by the "embalmer" who has a national license.

How embalming helps you:

  • ・By restoring the appearance of the body that has changed due to an accident or disease, we can create an illusion of the natural expression of when the person was alive.
  • ・It is not necessary to apply dry ice to the body of your loved one.
  • ・We will offer treatment and transportation of the body (pick-up, departure, etc.) by one-stop service, and strive to reduce the mental and financial burden of the family.

In the Embalming, besides the basic role of controlling the decay of the body and providing cleanliness, it is possible to have enough time to make the appearance of the deceased loved one beautiful.
This is also plays a role in relieving the burden of the feelings of the bereaved people who have lost someone, by even a little, while being distracted having to worry about finishing the funeral arrangements. This also allows, once again, having the time and value to be able to face the deceased, which is another characteristic of Embalming.
